If you selected Interactive Live Streaming<\/a> as your streaming mode, then you will be going live directly from your web-browser. This section describes the setup required and various related features that you can use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important<\/strong>
You must use one of the recommended browsers<\/a> for publishing your feed. Unsupported browsers may not allow you to use all the features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click Test<\/kbd> \u279c Present<\/kbd> (in the test mode) or Connect<\/kbd> \u279c Present<\/kbd> (in the production mode) to access the presenter virtual stage. Your virtual stage would look like the following screenshot with your own live camera feed. At this point, you are in a Preview <\/em><\/strong>mode, not broadcasting yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>
You must allow both camera <\/strong>and mic <\/strong>access when you are prompted by the browser. If you accidentally didn’t allow them first time, or of you have disabled them previously, you will need to go to website preference<\/strong> under your respective browser settings to reactivate it for Konnectclub<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tweak Audio\/Video Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can change your A\/V settings by clicking the Setup<\/kbd> button from the top panel. The setup will show you the following prompt. If you have an audio or video equipment connected to this computer, and if they are recognized as valid devices for your computer, then they will show up in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The setup prompt also allows you to select high definition audio bit-rate, stereo mode etc. <\/span>to enable you to deliver high quality content in real time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have made your selections on the Setup prompt, click Apply<\/kbd> to allow the changes to take effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>
We recommend selecting 128 Kbps<\/strong> Audio Bit-rate. A lower bit-rate setting or Auto Bit-rate will significantly degrade the sound quality. A higher bit-rate setting (higher than 128 Kbps) rarely improves any perceptible audio quality while significantly taxing your internet bandwidth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Publish Your Feed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once you are satisfied with your settings, you can go live by clicking the Publish<\/kbd> button on top. At this point, any viewer tuned into the session (either in Test mode or Production mode) will see you live feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your virtual stage will show a status of your connection, and number of viewers watching live at any time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tips<\/strong>
If you are testing the feed by watching it on the same or a nearby computer, please make sure to hit the Mute<\/kbd> button from the top panel in your publisher stage to avoid audio feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live Share a Pre-Recorded Video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Instead of broadcasting a camera feed, you can also play the content of a pre-recorded video file for you audience from your virtual stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>
This feature is different from the Pre-Recorded Video Streaming<\/a> mode. With this feature, you are still using Interactive Streaming, but have the ability to switch between camera feeds and pre-recorded content in real-time. We recommend choosing the Pre-Recorded Video Streaming<\/strong> mode for most pre-recorded content, whenever possible, so that you can pre-upload your video ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important<\/strong>
This functionality is only available in the latest version of the\u00a0Google Chrome<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Microsoft Edge\u00a0<\/strong>browser. However, you must disable the\u00a0Hardware Acceleration<\/em>\u00a0as described below due to a unresolved bug<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Chromium<\/em>\u00a0based browsers.\u00a0You need to perform this step only once.

1. Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
2. Go to\u00a0Settings<\/em>.
3. Scroll to the bottom, click to show\u00a0Advanced\u00a0<\/em>and scroll to the\u00a0System<\/em>\u00a0section.
4. Uncheck\u00a0Use hardware acceleration when available<\/em>\u00a0and restart your browser.
